BLEACH Mirrors High Tier List (October 2026)
Updated:

Mirrors High tier list: the short answer
Provisional / Kit-Based Ranking — 2026-10-29. Grades come from reading every launch character’s skill text and comparing the numbers. This wiki has not logged live clears or Arena win rates yet, so treat close calls (A vs B) as soft.
- Best overall: Sosuke Aizen and Ichigo Kurosaki — the two biggest Attack stackers.
- Best support: Rukia Kuchiki — team Critical Hit Rate up to +25% whenever the target has any Status Ailment, and you get her free.
- Best free ★4 Retry pick: Toshiro Hitsugaya (pairs with free Rukia), or Ichigo if you want the simplest carry.
- Skip early: Uryu Ishida and Grimmjow — their bonuses need them to be afflicted.
Combat Strength tiers (kit-based)
Every launch character is ★4 at max rarity; this ranks the ★4 kits at final Innate values.
| Tier | Characters | Why this tier |
|---|---|---|
| S | Aizen, Ichigo, Toshiro, Rukia | Largest Attack/Crit numbers in the roster, or (Rukia) a team-wide crit buff with an easy trigger |
| A | Rangiku, Orihime, Mayuri, Byakuya | Strong team buffs, mitigation or Defense shred; slightly narrower or less damage-dense |
| B | Yoruichi, Renji, Yasutora (Chad), Bambietta | Good tools that depend on Clash wins, evasion timing or PvP context |
| C | Grimmjow, Uryu | Bonuses gated on the unit being afflicted himself; self-damage on Uryu’s Mortal Blow |
Why each character is placed where they are
| Character | Tier | Key kit numbers (final Innate) | Reason / caveat |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sosuke Aizen | S | Skill Attack +40% (10 Count); entry Attack +22%→+34% (20 Count); +20% after 3 Action Card hits | Highest stacked Attack. Drawback: entering extends every ally’s remaining Switch cooldown by 12→7 Count — start him on field, don’t switch him in mid-fight. Kit from the official intro |
| Ichigo Kurosaki | S | Skill Attack +40%; Arts 1 hits stack +6.5% ×4 (=+26%); Mortal Blow cooldown −4 | Permanent, no drawback, easy to fire. Best non-limited carry |
| Toshiro Hitsugaya | S | Skill Attack +40%; after a crit Attack +24%; Frostbite 100% after crit; Mortal Blow 50% Freeze; own Crit Rate +15% | Self-feeding crit loop, and Frostbite/Freeze switch on Rukia’s buff |
| Rukia Kuchiki | S | Team Crit Rate +25% & Crit Dmg +6% after hitting an ailed enemy; Chain entry team Crit Rate +15%; Bind skill; Freeze Mortal Blow | Brings her own Bind/Freeze, so she can trigger her own buff. Free ★3 copy at launch |
| Rangiku Matsumoto | A | Skill team Crit Rate +15%; on return to Standby team Crit Rate +18% & Crit Dmg +9%; Chain entry +15% | Pure crit battery; no ailments of her own, so she relies on teammates |
| Orihime Inoue | A | Entry 75% chance enemy Attack −25%; Mortal Blow ally damage taken −15%; team ailment chance −30% | Best defensive kit; higher in hard PvE and PvP |
| Mayuri Kurotsuchi | A | Arts 50% Defense −20% + Poison; skill Physical Def −10% (−25% if Poisoned); Chain entry team damage +10% | Strongest Defense shred; Poison also triggers Rukia |
| Byakuya Kuchiki | A | Arts 50% Bleed; Arts 2 +15% vs Bleed; Bind skill; Crit Rate +15%; evasion Attack stacks | Solid ailment DPS; evasion bonus needs Vanishing Evasion timing |
| Yoruichi Shihoin | B | Skill seals enemy Switch 10 Count; Stagger Mortal Blow; Mortal Blow cooldown −3 | Switch Seal is a PvP tool; modest damage in PvE |
| Renji Abarai | B | Skill Clash Victory Rate +30%; on counter enemy Def −20% & Atk −9%; Clash win team damage +10% | Payoff depends on winning Clashes; better in PvP |
| Yasutora Sado (Chad) | B | Entry team damage +8% (up to +18% at low HP); Cover Change removes switch cooldown; Defense +25% | Flexible switch enabler; low personal damage |
| Bambietta Basterbine | B | Arts 1 50% Burn; Arts 2 +18% vs Burn; Clash-win Attack +20% | Burn triggers Rukia, but kit numbers trail the A tier |
| Grimmjow | C | Attack +23% while he is afflicted; Clash bonuses | Needs to be hit by ailments first — unreliable |
| Uryu Ishida | C | Attack +24% while he is Poisoned; Mortal Blow costs 15% of his HP over time | No ally in the launch roster poisons him; self-damage |
Investment Priority (who to spend resources on)
This is a separate grade: how worth it a character is for a new account in week one, counting price, deadlines and free copies.
| Priority | Character | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Rukia | Free ★3 gift, S-tier support, fits almost any team |
| 1 | Ichigo | Free ★3 gift + common Retry pick; permanent S carry |
| 2 | Aizen | Limited — PICKUP ends 2026-11-24 05:59 UTC (14:59 JST); worth your launch gems if you want him |
| 2 | Toshiro | Best Retry ★4 to pair with Rukia |
| 3 | Rangiku, Mayuri, Orihime | Only if you pull them; great second-team pieces |
| 4 | Byakuya, Yoruichi, Renji, Chad, Bambietta | Level when needed for content or Arena |
| 5 | Grimmjow, Uryu | Favorites only |
Leveling crystals are limited to one EXP Battle per day (community report), so feed three characters, not ten — see the character progression guide.
Which free ★4 to pick from the Retry Summon
The one-time Retry Summon (community-reported) lets you redraw a ★4-guaranteed 10-pull until you lock it. Limited Aizen is not in it.

| Your plan | Lock this ★4 | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Will also pull Aizen | Toshiro | Aizen covers raw Attack; Toshiro + free Rukia gives a second, crit-based core |
| Not chasing Aizen, want one carry | Ichigo | The ★4 version carries the full kit (the launch gift is a separate ★3 copy); simplest S-tier DPS |
| Want safety in hard content | Orihime | Mitigation the free units lack |
Aizen vs Ichigo

| Aizen | Ichigo | |
|---|---|---|
| Peak Attack buffs | +40% skill, +34% entry, +20% soul | +40% skill, +26% Arts 1 stacks, +20% soul |
| Drawback | Entry extends team Switch cooldowns (12→7 Count) | None in kit text |
| Availability | Limited, ends 2026-11-24 05:59 UTC | Permanent; free ★3 + Retry pool |
| Verdict | Higher ceiling, played as the opener | Easier, safer pick for most players |
If you can only get one: take Ichigo from the Retry Summon (free) and spend gems on Aizen before the deadline — you don’t have to choose.
PvE vs PvP adjustments
- PvP / Arena: move Yoruichi (Switch Seal) and Renji (Clash +30%, counter debuffs) up to A; Orihime’s −25% enemy Attack also gains value. Aizen’s Switch-cooldown drawback hurts more.
- PvE / story & daily battles: the S column stands; Chad’s switch support and Mayuri’s Defense shred matter most in longer fights.
- These shifts are inferred from skill text — no Arena data yet.
How we graded (and what would change it)
- Final Innate values from the official skill intros (news/36512); Aizen from his official intro (news/17759, published 2026-10-29).
- Damage multipliers of Arts and Mortal Blows are not published, so grades lean on buffs and triggers.
- A character moves when: we log fights, an official balance note lands, or a new unit changes synergies. Disagreements: other sites put Orihime anywhere from S (Pro Game Guides) to B (gacha.gg) — the spread is mostly PvP vs PvE weighting.

Frequently asked questions
Who is the best character in BLEACH Mirrors High right now?
On kit numbers, Sosuke Aizen has the highest self-buff ceiling (Skill +40% Attack, +22% to +34% Attack on entry, +20% after 3 Action Card hits), but his entry also extends the team's remaining Switch cooldowns. Ichigo is the best permanent damage dealer. Both are S on this wiki's provisional kit-based ranking.
Which free ★4 should I lock from the Retry Summon?
Toshiro if you also want Aizen or plan to use the free Rukia — his Frostbite keeps Rukia's status-ailment crit buff active. Pick Ichigo if you want the simplest single carry and will not chase Aizen.
Is this tier list based on tested gameplay?
No. It is a provisional ranking derived from each character's official skill text as of 2026-10-29. It will be revised when this wiki logs live fights, and the Combat Strength and Investment Priority columns are graded separately.
Who should I avoid investing in early?
Uryu (needs to be Poisoned himself to gain his bonus and his Mortal Blow damages himself) and Grimmjow (bonus only while he is afflicted). Both are C on combat strength until play shows otherwise.
