Mirrors High Character Progression & Upgrade Materials

Updated:

Mirrors High character progression in one minute

  • Level with EXP crystals that match the character’s attribute. A matching crystal gives far more EXP than an off-colour one (AppMedia’s example: about +2,000 vs +50 EXP). Community
  • Run the EXP Battle every day. It is once per day: Battle → Daily Battle → EXP Battle. Community
  • Spend Arena BP on crystals. 200 BP buys red crystal (S) ×20. Community
  • Don’t spread materials. Put them into two or three characters from one team until it clears content, then branch out.
  • Limit break needs duplicates. It happens automatically when you get a duplicate’s shards. You don’t press a button for it. Community

How leveling works

Open Enhance (強化) → Level. Use Auto Select, and tick “Don’t exceed level cap” so you don’t waste crystals past the cap. Community (AppMedia, JP UI labels)

Crystal factStatus
Six crystal colours, one per attributeCommunity
Matching colour gives much more EXPCommunity
Exact EXP per crystal sizeUnknown (we haven’t captured a full table)

Before you feed crystals, check the character’s attribute on the unit page. Off-colour crystals are only worth using when a character is one level short of a cap.

Limit break and skill upgrades

  • Limit break: applies automatically when duplicate shards arrive. Community
  • How many duplicates for max limit break: Unknown. We haven’t seen a reliable published number.
  • Skill / Arts upgrade materials: Unknown. No source we trust lists the items yet. We’ll add them once we’ve captured them in-game.

The free ★3 Ichigo and ★3 Rukia from the launch Gifts are separate ★3 copies. Nobody has confirmed whether they count toward a ★4 copy’s limit break, so don’t plan around it.

Who to build first

  1. Your main carry. Aizen if you pulled him; otherwise Ichigo or Toshiro (see the tier list).
  2. Rukia. She supports almost every team, and her team crit buff triggers off status ailments.
  3. Your third slot: Rangiku or Orihime, depending on the team.

Leave B/C-tier units at low level until crystal income stops being a bottleneck. Crystals are the scarce resource in week one. Gems and stamina aren’t.

What the closed beta says about future changes

In the official CBT report, the developers said they were reevaluating how difficult it is to obtain Training Items. Official. So launch drop rates may change, which is one more reason not to over-farm one material now. Changes after launch will be noted here once they’re announced.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Feeding off-colour crystals to save time.
  • Levelling five or more characters evenly in week one.
  • Skipping the daily EXP Battle (it doesn’t stack).
  • Spending Arena BP on cosmetics before crystals.

More early traps: beginner mistakes.
