BLEACH Mirrors High Combat System Overview
Updated:

Direct answer: Mirrors High combat system
Battles are three-character team fights driven by Action Cards. Officially, you mix attack cards, fire explosively animated Mortal Blows, chain into Link Attacks, and trigger a coordinated team-up called Soul Drive. Community transcriptions of the in-game help add the loop: fill a Draw Gauge → draw cards → use Arts with a red/green/blue affinity triangle → win clashes or play advantaged Arts for counters → land a Break Attack → fill the Soul Gauge on a guard-broken foe → Soul Drive. Numbers below are not hand-copied; skills live on each character page.

Battle loop (community-transcribed help)

- Win condition: reduce all enemy HP to 0 (some stages use alternate goals such as timers or survival).
- Draw Gauge fills → you draw an Action Card.
- Play cards → the active character performs that action.
- Use Arts affinity to trigger counters or clashes.
- Successful card use fills the Break Attack Gauge → Break Attack → Guard Break.
- During guard break, actions fill the Soul Gauge → Soul Drive (stronger with more living party members).
Action Card types
| Type | Role (high level) |
|---|---|
| Arts 1 | Core attack Arts |
| Arts 2 | Second Arts slot |
| Skill | Buffs / debuffs / utility (varies by unit) |
| Chain Attack | Links into team follow-ups / Link Attacks |
| Mortal Blow | Signature finisher |
Per-unit text: see characters pages (data layer).
Arts affinity triangle
| Arts (color) | Strong against |
|---|---|
| Power (Red) | Blitz (Green) |
| Blitz (Green) | Projectile (Blue) |
| Projectile (Blue) | Power (Red) |
- Same type collide → Clash (except Projectile vs Projectile cancels without clash, per transcription).
- Advantaged Arts → counter.
- Clash win chance shifts with card affinity and Spiritual Pressure comparison.
- Winning a clash → counter window with boosted damage until the combo ends.
- Melee / Projectile Parry skills can also start counters (plus Defense down / Seal Switch per transcription).
Break and Soul Drive
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| Break Attack Gauge | Fills on successful Action Card use |
| Guard Break | Enemy guard down; you keep a full hand window (transcription notes 4 cards) |
| Soul Gauge | Fills from actions during guard break |
| Soul Drive | Whole-party coordinated attack; more party members = stronger |
Attacks during guard break may not refill the Draw Gauge (transcription)—plan your hand before breaking.
Early practical tips (Initial Analysis)
Evidence grade: Initial Analysis—launch week reasoning, not live ladder data.
- Read enemy Arts color before spending a card; free counters beat raw damage races.
- Keep at least one Arts type you can switch into for counter coverage when building best teams.
- Save Mortal Blows for counter windows or guard break rather than dumping on cooldown.
- Team synergy for Soul Drive favors keeping all three alive.
Who is strongest: October 2026 tier list (Initial Analysis).
Exceptions
- Event / boss stages may change victory conditions.
- If in-game help text differs from this page, the client wins; report via site contact.
- Closed-beta videos may show older UI or rules—not treated as live.
